Employer Support of Guard and Reserve- Patriot Award

Employees who are either National Guard members or Reservists are able to nominate individual supervisors or bosses for an ESGR award for the exemplary support they provide to the employee and family of the Service Member. The award commends managers who support employee warriors through a wide-range of measures, including flexible schedules, paid time off during drill, and granting leaves of absence if necessary.

Washington Business Journal’s Minority Business Leader

Award honorees are comprised of the top minority business owners and executives in the Washington D.C. metro area who are wholly committed to leadership, corporate philanthropy, and ethics. Winners from the 10th class of Minority Business Leaders were selected by a panel of staff from the Washington Business Journal.

The book includes a compilation of stories and strategies from the best-run companies in the Mid-Atlantic region regarding how leadership teams have managed and perfected their strategic vision, quick growth, leadership development, customer-service mindset and nurtured top corporate cultures. Best Workplace for Commuters

The award is given in recognition of employers in Fairfax County who have implemented green commuter programs, such as ride-sharing, transit benefits, among other beneficial strategies. The program is sponsored by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the University of South Florida’s Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) in order to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles on the roads.

The Fast 50 recognizes small businesses that have continually succeeded in the federal market. The Fast 50 list is comprised of companies with at least five years of business in the government’s small business category with the highest revenue growth rate from 2011 through 2015.

Government Contractor Awards™ (Finalist)

The award, presented by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, honors a government contracting C-level executive in the Greater Washington region who has made exceptional contributions to his or her company, the local community, and the government contracting industry throughout the past year.

Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia Small Business Award

The Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia opened its doors in January of 2001, and is a proud program of the Community Business Partnership, Inc., (CBP), a non-profit organization founded in 1995. In addition to the Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia, CBP also hosts a Small Business Development Center – serving existing businesses; the Business Finance Center – making microloans, connections to bank loans and alternative funding; and a Business Incubation Center – offering office space, room rentals, mailbox services and more.

Mid-Tier Advocacy Award

Mid-Tier Advocacy is a coalition of small and mid-size government contractors that work together to eliminate the competitive disadvantage faced by companies once they graduate from small business programs. The “Bridge Awards” recognize and celebrate those who are leading their companies across bridges or are helping other businesses cross over obstacles.
