9th Rule: Don’t Micromanage
Instead of hovering over employees, relinquish control and trust your executive decision-making skills that you hired the right person for the job. Micromanaging runs the risk of creating a counterproductive atmosphere, which can diminish value delivered to clients. If you have to micromanage an employee, you probably hired the wrong person.
